We'd like you to meet:

Kendell Burruss

New to the Business Agent Charlotte-Ballantyne

When Kendell Burruss bought her home in Charlotte, she was so impressed by her Allen Tate Realtor® that she wanted to be one, too.

"I really wanted to help people," she says. "I was so happy when I bought my house and my agent made it so easy for me. I decided I wanted to do that for other people as well."

Kendell grew up in France, then moved to the U.S. for positions in marketing and media. While she enjoyed her career, she was looking for more independence. She saw a career in real estate as an opportunity to put her skills and experience to work - and make a name for herself.

Aside from her great personal experience with Allen Tate, Kendell was drawn to the company's strong reputation and the outstanding training it offered. "You can't get that anywhere else," she said. "Compared to others in my licensing class, I was getting much better training."

During her Allen Tate Winner's Edge classes, Kendell landed her first client. She was grateful for the hands-on, in-the-moment coaching she received from her managers and trainer through role-playing.

"They wanted to know I would be successful when I got out there," she remembers.

"My managers Diane Kuiper and Katrina Richards, and the company trainer Stephanie Fessel made themselves very accessible to me, and still do today whenever I have a question or a client need."

"The support I've received from leadership is one reason I've been successful. The people in my office are creative and empowering. I felt the energy the moment I entered the Ballantyne office."

Kendell also uses social media to build client relationships, especially Nextdoor and Facebook, where she advertises and boosts posts to increase her audience reach. She also uses Twitter and Instagram to build her personal brand.

She is solidifying her reputation with great customer service.

"My promise is to always deliver a positive, smooth and exciting experience to my clients. At the end of the day, we are in this journey together, and my goal is to ensure their happiness. Helping families find a place to call home is not just a job, it's my passion."
