A 25-year real estate veteran, Jeff White remembers the days when he was choosing his career. "I chose real estate over becoming a therapy and counseling professional. Now I get to do both," he laughs.

Working with other firms before coming to Allen Tate, Jeff says he watched the company grow in market share and become Number One in the Carolinas. "I thought they were very corporate," he says, "but I learned they operate on a local level. At that point in my career, I was looking for a better back office experience. What Allen Tate offers makes their agents better."

"What I've noticed in our office," he continues, "is that everyone is willing to help and share, but not because it's forced in the culture. It's all organic. There's an absence of drama. Everyone wants to get along and see each other do well. There is respect for what each individual brings to the office."

And Jeff notes that since joining Allen Tate, he takes more to the bottom line: the percentage of actual profit he realizes has increased. He points out that Allen Tate's marketing is extremely good. He credits access to Tate Chat for bringing in an additional five to six transactions a year.

But it's not just about the bottom line for Jeff. His drive to be helpful and contributing allows him to guide people through what he says are "the best and worst parts of their lives" He feels honored to be there for them to make those emotional home transitions easier.

Jeff's advice to newer agents is to talk to as many people as they can. "Be persistent and don't give up."
