Janet Parris-Gray

Branch Leader - Asheboro

Janet Parris-Gray didn't set out to become a real estate agent. She was an active homemaker, mother and community service volunteer when her husband died in a car accident, leaving her a single parent of a 3-year-old daughter. Real estate became the right career that gave her the flexibility and balance she needed.

As branch leader of the Allen Tate Asheboro office, Janet strives to help her agents achieve their career goals by drawing on her own vast experience in the industry. She's sold and managed residential and commercial properties, developed new home subdivisions, rehabbed distressed and foreclosure properties, and has well-served the industry as an active association officer and leader.

Janet is a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina and the Guilford Native American Association. She's also an anonymous volunteer helping women improve their lives by gaining self-esteem and independence. Janet has visited all 50 states and eight countries, but now, she's racking up frequent flier miles traveling to California to visit her daughter Leslie and son-in-law Shane.
